Sunday 16 th May Piddle Lakes
Saturday 10th July Cob house Lakes
Sunday 8th August Smiths A.C.
Sunday 5th September Holme Lacy
Sunday 12th September Ross
Sunday 10th October Bredwardine
This years fur and feather was enjoyed by all who attended. Thanks to Chris we enjoyed a hearty BBQ before the match. The weather stayed dry but the recent cold weather made fishing slow. From Peg 8 on the waggler, Chris Loveridge hunted out the skimmers with succesful results to weigh in with 2lb 7oz. John Shaw caught steadily from the inside of peg 14 producing a fine catch of small roach for 2lb 4oz. In 3rd fishing from unfavourable winter peg 4 was Mike Spragg. Who fished deep to weigh in 12oz. All anglers caught but the odd perch or two seperated these hardy folk. A buffet was then enjoyed, washed down with John's infamous sherry, for which our stomachs are still re-lining.
Friend of the Club Malachy Doyle has produced some unique fish prints and photo albums.
He has 14 different variations of fish prints for sale which include; Sea trout, Wild Brown Trout, Reservoir Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Perch, Catfish, Zander, Common Carp, Mirror Carp, Grayling, Atlantic Salmon, Barbel and two variations of Pike.
They are approximately 6.5 inches x 6.5 inches and they best fit into a mount of approximately 12.25 inches by 12.25 inches, a perfect size for framing as pairs or sets.
The Photo albums come in a large size (space for two 5x7 photos per page) and a small size (space for one 5x7 photo per page) and both have space for 200 5x7 photos. They come with either a gold embossed carp, pike or perch on the cover.
Full details along with pictures of all the prints and photo albums can be found at the online shop: http://www.fishprints.org
